Synopsis
Bright Ideas by Eric Coble is a fast-paced, darkly funny satire about modern parenting, ambition, and the lengths we’ll go to for the “perfect” life. Joshua and Genevra Bradley are desperate to get their 3-year-old son, Mac, into the most exclusive preschool in town. When they realize there’s only one spot left — and one family standing in their way — a dinner party with Genevra's co-worker turns into a deliciously twisted night that spirals into murder, cover-ups, and moral chaos.
This play offers actors big, bold characters, razor-sharp dialogue, and moments that swing from laugh-out-loud comedy to dark psychological tension. Inspired by Shakespeare's Macbeth, the play serves as a playground for performers who love physical comedy, quick pacing, and morally complicated characters.
